It's April already?! Can we just sloooow the year down a little bit please? I probably say this every year but time just goes so quickly!!
As it's the beginning of another month it means only one thing; it's time for my next 'Blogger Spotlight' to shine!
This month I have the wonderful Eleanor; blogger, biology student and yoga teacher. Let's all see what Eleanor blogs about and what her plans are for the future!

Elle is the author of Green+Aquamarine, vinyasa yoga teacher and fad-free health advocate based in York. She writes with the modern lifestyle in mind, with articles, tips and recipes that can be incorporated into busy lives.
How long have you been blogging and what kind of content can we find on your blog?
I’ve been blogging for around four years now and can’t imagine not having one anymore! I write articles on yoga, tips, recipes and reviews.
What made you choose to start a blog and why did you choose the subject/s you blog about?
Honestly, I was in need of a new project after handing in a big project in my final year of school. I had done some blogging before and was getting interested in health and fitness so decided to start writing about it and yoga.
Where do you find inspiration from for your blog?
I’m so inspired by the blogging community, particularly professionals within the industry such as experienced yoga teachers and dieticians.
Do you have any big plans for your blog?
Absolutely! I’m giving myself a year to fully immerse myself as a yoga teacher and grow my website before studying a Master’s degree. I’ll be producing lots more content, including (hopefully!) yoga flows and vlogs on YouTube, and organising more events based in Yorkshire and northern England.
Tell me about your proudest blog achievement.
Winning the best yoga blog in the 2016 Health Blog Awards has to be my proudest moment. I really thought I didn’t have a chance and it showed me that I’m working in the right direction.
What has been your biggest blog disaster?
Earlier on I naively jumped on a few health trends because I blindly trusted other bloggers and wellness websites. Now I can sort “nutribollocks” and questionable information more easily, and if I can’t I try to research before I post about anything new. That and all my bad photography in the first few years!
Time is always a big discussion point between bloggers, how do you manage your time?
My brain works much better in the mornings, so any big tasks or university work gets prioritised first thing. I also aim to be realistic with what I can achieve without compromising standards.
Lastly, where do you see your blog in 5 years time?
I see my blog as being an extension of my work in the health and wellness industry, being established as a reputable source of evidence-based health and yoga articles, as well as the place to go to hear about events in the north.
