#wellnesscracked ginger and walnut muffins
Put your hands up if you looooove walnuts! *puts hands up*.
The other week I was very kindly asked to be a part of California Walnuts new campaign- 'California Walnuts. California Reset'. This campaign aims to showcase the many health benefits of this so-called super nut, as well as showcase it's versatility as not only a healthy snack but also an awesome addition to cooking.
Walnuts are not only perfect as a delicious snack, but they really do make a great addition to both sweet and savoury dishes. As mentioned above, there are also many health benefits to walnuts. Did you know they are packed with plant-based Omega-3's? Well you do now! Here are 7 other reasons as to why walnuts = wellness-
Helps keep your heart healthy
Boosts your energy
Protects your natural defences
Helps keep tiredness at bay
Supports brain function and vision
Helps keep your skin and hair nourished
Helps to keep your bones and teeth healthy
What's not to love there?!
As part of this campaign I also wanted to share with you a super simple and easy recipe using walnuts! This recipe only uses 5 ingredients, including the awesome walnut, can you believe it?!
